I left San Angelo in 1976 and moved to Austin, Texas. Been here since then. I was employed by the Travis County Adult Probation Department from 1976 to 1979. In 1980 I went to work for the Third Court of Appeals as a legal secretary working for the Judges on the Court. I stayed there until August of 2000, after 20 years! I started working in September of 2000 for the law firm of Clark, Thomas & Winters, as a legal secretary for two attorneys. I am engaged to a wonderful man, Larry W. Richardson. He is a Senior Patrol Officer for the City of Austin. We go two-stepping (dancing) almost every week--usually at the Broken Spoke or at the Cotton Club in Granger, Texas. We enjoy going to the Texas coast, especially Port Aransas, taking our boat out to Lake Austin and Lake Travis, and antique shopping at small towns like Bandera, Johnson City, Blanco and anything around the Hill Country. My two children are now 24 and 29. My son is a mechanical engineer for H.B. Zachary and lives in San Antonio. My daughter lives in Austin and works for Zerox in the accounting department. Larry and I married on December 2, 2002. We had a marvelous two-week honeymoon in New Mexico. Of course we had to stop in San Angelo on our way back from our trip and do some shopping and of course had to go eat at Zentner's Steakhouse. It's always fun to come back to your hometown. |

Lord, so much has happen since high school. I got married when I was a senior and didn't have to. That union lasted 28 years and produced three beautiful children. My oldest Tony is a doctor at MD Anderson. My daughter Sandy is a youth minister in Plano. My youngest son, David, just graduated from college and is a banker. Now they can take care of, pray for and handle my money or I will move in with them someday. I have two beautiful grandchildren and one on the way. I understand now the old saying why God gives babies to younger women. I love them but enjoy sending them home. I graduated from ASU with my AD and BSN degree in nursing. I am an RN in McAllen, Texas working in the ER, and ICU. I worked and help form the Hospice program in San Angelo for eight years then moved down south. I am divorced and just bought me a home with a pool that I enjoy everyday. I just enjoy life and try not to get so serious. I take a cruise every year to see the beautiful things god has given us to enjoy. I haven't missed any reunions and hope to see everyone at the 40th. |
