Memories

The following was sent to Chris Ostrander from Dottie (Ingham) Griffin-Barker

Chris -

Don't know if you will remember me as Dorothy or Dottie, but when I recall my first few years in San Angelo (at Crockett Elementary in 5th and 6th grade and Mrs. Bingham's Dance Studio when we were 6th graders), memories of Debra - the first person to greet me the morning I enrolled at Crockett Elementary and you - the boy with the sweetest smile -  are etched in my heart and mind.   I still have a folder with cartoon characters that Debra drew and the horse picture that her mother drew for me when I spent the night at Debra's house.  I was so sad to hear this news, but I know that she is in a better place now.  I just wanted to let you know how happy I am to know that she had a life-long friend at her side and what a special person she has always been to me!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Debra's family.
