CAPTAIN MICHAEL LEE  DEPAUWCOLLEYVILLE — Captain Michael Lee DePauw, 51, a Dallas fireman, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in the line of duty while doing what he loved most. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Richland Hills Church of Christ. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Michael was a Dallas fireman for 30 years, and was promoted to Captain on Sept. 10, 2001. He enjoyed people, helping people and was a hero to everyone. He leaves behind many memories that will not be forgotten. Survivors include his wife, Sharon DePauw; children, Scott DePauw, Chris DePauw and wife, Sharon, Katie Marsh, Jill Marsh and Pamela Marsh; grandchildren, Faith Kelly and Serendipity DePauw; mother, Pat DePauw of San Angelo; brothers, Floyd DePauw and wife, Susan, of Flower Mound, Bobby Joe DePauw and wife, Tina, of San Angelo, and David Wayne DePauw of Crowley; great-aunt, Christine “Sis” Houghton; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members; and special friends, Bob Hargrove and wife, Kathy, A.C. Massey and wife, Jana, Buford Kemp and wife, Linda, and Captain Hugh Wesson. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
